Quit Day

I've been trying to quit smoking for quite some time now. Two weeks ago Gale, my Tobacco Treatment Center coach, and I set today as my quit date. So far I haven't had any smokes. But in all honesty, I don't know if I really can go the whole day with out one.

The last attempt was back in June. At that time I lasted almost three weeks, which was a great start, then dad got sick and landed in the hospital for a week and all my trying went to hell. Since then, we've set three other quit dates. All of them came and went with a cigarette in my hand.

I know I'm just ranting right now, but for some reason, it is actually helping me not want one.

Maybe just seeing it written out is what I need this time.
