This Sucks!!!!
This is the third time I've had to call my cell carrier for an unlock code for my dad's phone. Normally, you're allowed to get unlock codes for each number on your account (which, I have three: Mine, Hubby's and Dad's). We got two of the codes, no problem. Dad's on the other hand, has caused nothing but grief. The first time they attached the IMEI number (phone ID #) to my phone number instead of dad's number. Result "we can't give you the code because of a previous request".
Attempt number 2: called to let them know that the IMEI was attached to the wrong number and process it again under the RIGHT number. Result: same thing. Only this time, it's because the last four numbers on Dad's phone is the same as mine. Email only referenced last four instead of the WHOLE phone number. BRILLIANT!!!!
Third call (today): no longer dealing with the Customer Service Reps, going straight the the Supervisor. Told them they screwed up the first two times and I'm NOT waiting 90 days to try again. Override the system, put in the right IMEI to the right FULL phone number and GIVE ME MY CODE, DAMN IT!!!!!!
Hopefully I'll have a nice little email later today saying "I'm Sorry, Here Is Your Code".
I don't want to have to make another phone call; this time to their Corporate Offices.
